Super Fun Weekend

I would like to thank Mississippi State for always planning Super Bulldog Weekend around the time of Carrie and Dad's birthday. It gives a double reason to get together and celebrate! This year was no exception. We kicked off the weekend with a birthday dinner at Anthony's. Good friends, good food and great cake! Saturday, I returned to Tupelo to work while Jeff played in the golf tournament with Dad and Garett. The froze to death but had a great time. After watching our baseball team sweep Tennessee they headed to the spring football game. This year State did something extra special and hosted a concert by Sugarland (one of our favorites) after the football game. So I high-tailed it back to Starkville to meet everyone for the concert. It was great fun! Even though it was a little chilly, we still had a wonderful time!
Happy Birthday to you!
Make a wish!

Rainbow!

Today it rained all day. And I mean ALL DAY. It never stopped until sunset. And after a day of rain we were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow! Morgan loved it and stood in the doorway and just watched it until it faded away. It was so sweet to see how excited she was!

It was chilly after the rain so Morgan wrapped up!

Morgan did a little painting this weekend by her swing set. We may have found a new hobby!

Beach Bums

On Easter Sunday Morgan and I packed up and headed to the beach with RoRo, Packe and GG. They were staying for Mom's spring break and we decided to tag along for a few days. It makes me so happy that Morgan loves the beach as much as I do. She talked about it the whole trip down! We spent two days on the sand just relaxing. When we were crossing the bridge on the Foley Beach Expressway she caught her first glimpse of the water and said, "Beach, here I come!" It was priceless! Sadly, we had to head back on Wednesday. But we had a great time!

Easter Weekend 2012

This past Easter weekend could not have been more perfect. Our families came to stay with us and we had a great time! Morgan is finally catching on to some Easter traditions and it's fun to watch her get excited about stuff. I don't think the weekend could have been more perfect if we tried!

Hunting Some Eggs

This week Morgan's class at school had an Easter Egg Hunt and us parents were invited to come! I was so excited to see this take place and see if she would understand at all. Man, did Morgan come to play! She was a super hunter picking up so many eggs I made her stop so the other kids could have some too! She had a blast and I did too. Her little class is so precious and I am thankful that Morgan is a part of it. She really has fun and is starting to make some friends. My baby is growing up!

Swinging with the Byars!

Last week Morgan's dreams came true- she got her very own swing set! Kristin and Mitch were so kind to spend the weekend with us and help get it all together. Mitch put up the swing set (with Jeff's help) and Kristin watched the kids while I was at work all day. When I got home Morgan was napping and the construction was almost complete! Who could ask for anything better? Best of all we got to visit with our friends and love on that sweet baby Wade. He is precious and Morgan and I almost kept him! On Sunday morning Morgan woke up, looked at me and said, "Daddy and Mitch built me a swing set! Let's play!" She was so happy that even the mud from all the rain couldn't keep her away! It was a great weekend seeing our friends and making my girl happy!
