Girls Weekend!

With crazy, busy schedules it is so hard for the four of us to get together.  So when we do I absolutely cherish our time!  We all decided to meet in Starkville and spend the weekend at Joe Joe's house where we have many fond college memories.  Sadly I had to work and couldn't join them until Saturday afternoon.  But when I did we had so much fun!!  That night we had dinner at Bin 612 and then had some drinks at the Beer Garden at Hotel Chester.  We had so much fun just catching up!  But I will say we felt very old being out with that college crowd.  It didn't matter too much though, we still had fun with just us!  We said goodbye over a yummy brunch at Restaurant Tyler.  Hopefully we won't wait so long this time to get back together!

Showering Lily Anne... and Anna!

Last weekend all my Chi Omega girls got together to throw Anna a baby shower to welcome Lily Anne to our group!  It was a great day and we always have such fun together.  It is such a blessing to have these girls in my life as we all go through these major events in our lives.  How fun is it going to be in the coming years with all these little girls running around?  Out of the five of us, we have 7 children between us (some here and some on the way) ...all girls!  Can you believe it?  We are going to fill that Chi O house at State very soon!  Anna had a wonderful turnout at her shower and it just goes to show how loved she is!

I love that Anna, Holly and myself are all pregnant at the same time!  How special!

Fun in Canton

We left the beach and drove straight to Jackson for the annual Kraft family reunion in Canton.  Sissy's large family always gets together this weekend and we always have fun.  This year was no exception!  I think my favorite part this year was watching Morgan play with her second cousins.  How special that they are going to grow up so close in age.  Another milestone was when Morgan went down the slide with Uncle Mike!  Last year she was too scared so I was really proud.  We had a great time, but after two weeks on the road our house looked really good when we got home!

A Fabulous Fourth

We have started a nice tradition of spending the week of the Fourth at the beach with my family.  Now that Mom and Dad are settled into the new house (it looks wonderful thanks to Robin and Mom's hard work), I see us doing this often.  Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time!

We got a few days on the beach before the clouds rolled in, the boys played some golf and we ate very well during our trip!  While we were there, we had some extra visitors to Mom and Dad's house.  The O'Nan's, Carrie and Lauren all spent some time with us at the beach.  We also got to spend a day with John and Susan at their rental house!

For the Fourth we went to Grandma's house for a neighborhood cookout and (sorta) watched the fireworks from the beach.  It was a great and relaxing trip!!

Oh how she loves the beach
We also celebrated Bobby's early birthday one night
Of course Morgan had to help blow out the candles
After dinner one night Grandma had an American history quiz and brought prizes for the winners!  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
