Trick or Treat!

We went trick or treating last night!  Yes, I know that's a day early, but it is supposed to rain all day on Halloween so a group of us from the neighborhood got together and we made a few stops at some accommodating neighbors.  The kids had a blast!  This year I had a beautiful bride and a lovely ladybug on my hands.  Could they be any cuter?  Morgan told me she wanted to be a bride so we found her a costume.  When she put on the veil that came with it she looked at herself in the mirror and told me she needed a bigger veil.  Is she my child or what?  So Belinda put the veil she wore down the aisle in the mail.  Morgan loved it!  And how special to wear Bubba's veil!  Aunt Carrie even came to town to see these little trick or treaters.  The girls were thrilled to have Aunt Carrie there!  All in all, a great Halloween!

Candy Corn Queens

We have been in the Halloween spirit all week!  My mom got the girls some fun things for Halloween and we have enjoyed them.  Morgan has discovered a love of candy corn and we celebrated that this year!  RoRo made her a candy corn dress and she would have worn it every day if I had let her!  So Macie got some candy corn jammers too!  Check out these festive girls...

My Girls

Sometimes my life has the sweetest moments I can hardly handle it.  Don't get me wrong, these girls can make me want to pull my hair out some days.  But then they give me these moments so wonderful that I feel my heart might burst with love.  Makes me count my blessings everyday.

Happy Birthday Morgan!

Morgan's actual birthday was spent a little calmer than the day before.  But it was still a day full of fun!  We started with breakfast at her favorite place, Waffle House.  Yep, that's right!  She loves it and so we went.  After some more presents from us Morgan played with all her new goodies all day.  Then we ALL took a nap that afternoon to recover from our last few days of fun!

Glittering Fun!

Morgan had finally turned 4!  My big girl had been looking forward to this birthday party for weeks now and she was ready to party!  We threw her a glitter party at HealthWorks! and everything was perfect.  She had so many of her sweet friends come to celebrate with her and she loved it.  The girls got to run and play all morning and I know I had one tired girl when it was all over.  Be ready for a ton of pictures...we wanted to remember it all!
We are so proud of our big girl!
HeathWorks! was ready for us too

Dawgs Win!

After Morgan got out of school Belinda and Emma Kate made it to Tupelo for more birthday fun!  We picked up Jeff from work and met Mom, Dad, Grandma and Sam in Starkville for the Kentucky game.  It was a cold night to watch the Dawgs play but we were ready!  Sissy kept Macie in Tupelo so I got to go to my first game of the season.  Thank goodness the Dawgs won!  Even though Grandma and Mom wore blue, we still let them sit with us.  At least Mom had some maroon on!  It was fun being together and watching Morgan and Emma Kate dance all game long!

The next day was a real treat...Mom, Grandma, Belinda and I got to shop at Celebration Village without children!  Sissy kept the girls for us while we thoroughly enjoyed our day buying everything we could find!  That night we all enjoyed a low-key dinner at home.  It was a great day!
 Look at what we got!

I was so glad Belinda and Emma Kate got to meet Macie.  And yes, I had to fuss at the Grandmothers to make them share with Belinda!

Beginning of Birthday Fun

With Morgan's birthday this weekend, I brought some goodies to her class on Thursday to begin our celebrations!  Sweet Lilla and Morgan share the same birthday so we got to celebrate together.  We brought cookies and goldfish to share with the class.  It was sweet to see the kids enjoy and sing to the girls!

Girls Day in Memphis

Today the girls and I took a road trip to Memphis for Macie.  Since Macie was born breech, the pediatrician in the hospital thought she might have hip dysplasia and needed to see a pediatric orthopedist.  So a few weeks ago we went for a checkup in Memphis.  Today we went back to get her an ultrasound and told she was all clear!  She hadn't shown any discomfort since she was born, so I feel like this was just a precaution.  Either way we are good and go back in 6 months for a follow up!

As a reward for the girls being so good for me through TWO doctor's offices, we went to the Memphis Botanic Garden to enjoy being outside in the beautiful weather.  We had never been before but it was great!  They have a part that is a huge play area for kids and of course it is beautiful- even in the fall.  I can't wait to bring the girls back in the spring when everything is blooming and take a ton more pictures!  It was a fun day with my two girls!

Morgan had so much fun checking it all out while Macie and I enjoyed strolling along with her
When I asked for one more picture this is the look I got... I think she was done
But then I was able to bribe one more smile!
