Happy Birthday Macie

I cannot believe that our sweet little Macie is two!  These two years have truly flown by.  Our family is truly complete now that she is in it.  Macie is the funniest little thing.  She is a thoughtful one and is always checking people out.  She can give you the funniest looks!  She still saves her biggest smiles and her biggest laughs for Morgan.  Everything really is Monkey See, Monkey Do!

When I was pregnant I was worried that Morgan would boss Macie and run her over.  Boy was I wrong!  She is strong-willed and can stand up for herself!  She has the sweetest voice and her "I Love Yous" make my day.  She gives out hugs and kisses all the time.

We love her so and can't wait to see what God has in store for her!
 Welcome to the world Macie!

Celebrating Macie

Macie's 2nd birthday party was held at our tailgate this year.  That's what our fall babies get... tailgate birthday parties!  And Macie's was perfect!  We kicked off our football season in style.  The weather was beautiful and even brought our first round of fall.  Mom made the girls sweet dresses and even a special apron for Macie to wear while she ate cake!  Our friends and family came to celebrate our sweet girl with us.  We truly could not have asked for a better day for our girl.  Happy Birthday Macie!

I love this picture because it is real life.  We tried to get a good pic and most were better, but this is my favorite.  Not one kid is really looking, some are crying, and the Mommas are laughing.  And I'm not sure I would have it any other way!

Dancing Queen

Morgan started dance class for the year last week as well.  She is taking both ballet and tap at Tupelo Academy of Dance Arts and has many friends in the class!

Back to School

Finally back to school!  This year Morgan started Kindergarten and Macie is in the toddler room at preschool.  Morgan is still at our church for Kindergarten so she and Macie are still at the same school... for the last time!

We all know I'm an emotional person, so I just knew I would cry taking Morgan to school.  But I didn't!  She was so very excited to get to school and she has the best class.  We have loved every second at FUMC so I knew Kindergarten would be no different.  And with Mrs. Kathy Wallace and Mrs. Kathy Ferris as your teacher?  She is ready!

Macie has such a sweet class this year as well.  Mrs. Martha and Mrs. Tina are going to have their hands full with those kiddos in the toddler room!

Visit From the Fairy

While Jeff and I were away on our trip Morgan lost her first tooth!  It had been loose for almost two months.  She wouldn't let us pull it!  So of course it would fall out while we were gone.  But that Tooth Fairy was ready to visit, leaving Morgan a note and $5 with sparkles all over it!  A week later she lost a second one.  She's growing up!

Sailing Away

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary this year Jeff and I booked a cruise!  Yep, five whole days just to ourselves!  Thankfully, Sam and Sissy kept the girls so Jeff and I could get away.  This was Jeff's first cruise and we left from New Orleans.  After lunch with Holly, Brad and Helena, we got on board!

We had two ports of call in Cozumel and Progreso in Mexico.  The weather was perfect and it was smooth sailing the whole time.  It was the perfect vacation.  We slept, ate, drank and slept some more!  I think I took a nap everyday.  And read three books!  We had an amazing trip and I can't wait to celebrate our next 10 years together!
 Ready to set sail
This is what I did everyday at sea
Our excursion in Cozumel took us to a private island by boat.  It was beautiful!
 Having fun!
 Ready to relax
Jeff had the most fun on the water trampoline!

Our second excursion was in Progreso.  We took a bus to a resort and enjoyed the beach, pool, food and drinks!
 It was gorgeous!

Family Birthday Fun

The other weekend Uncle Mike and Aunt Janet brought Ellie and Libby to Tupelo to stay with Sam and Sissy.  The big kids got to see their new home, and the little kids had a blast playing all weekend!  They swam and played in the princess tower the whole time.  Fun was had by all!  We also got to celebrate GaGa's birthday!

I'm not sure how we made it through life without help before Sam and Sissy moved to Tupelo.  I feel like Sissy is always helping watch the girls so I can work, we can travel, ect.  Thank goodness for them... and their new pool!
