Rolling and Other Skills

We are having tons of fun in our house these days!  My silly girls keep me (and each other) laughing all the time.  Don't get me wrong, we have our trying days too, but mostly there is fun.  Macie is growing everyday and I just love this stage in her life.  She is now rolling all over the place!  She had mastered rolling from her front to back but just couldn't get that belly over to go the other direction.  But last week she finally did!  Morgan and I left her on the floor and went to the kitchen.  When we came back Morgan saw she had moved and was shocked!  "Mom, look what Macie did!"  We were so proud and all went rolling with her.  My growing girl is moving too fast!

Meeting Patton

On Friday, February 28 Patton LaFleur made his way into the world and we are so thrilled!  The next day we went to the hospital to meet him.  Michelle and Garett are now proud parents to this sweet little man!

Carrot Time!

We are just getting Macie started on food! After eating rice cereal for a few weeks we decided to throw in some carrots for variety.  The first time she took a bite was hilarious!  With each bite she would shudder her whole body and make the worst face.  But she kept coming back for more!  After three days she was taking them like a champ.  But that first night was one for the books!
My girls and their carrots...Morgan wanted to join in on the fun too!
"What have you put in my mouth Mom?"
 We were a mess!
This was Morgan when she first ate carrots!

The Cold Doesn't Bother Her Either

Oh my little Elsa and her Frozen obsession... This kid loves anything and everything Frozen right now!  The soundtrack is on repeat in the car and at some point everyday you can find her in her Elsa dress making snow.  When my Mom came to visit she braided Morgan's hair and she thought she was something!

A Little Fun

These past few weeks have been blissfully boring!  I can't remember a time when we have been home for this long at one time.  And I love it!  We are typically on the go so I am relishing in the mundane.  We have been at home just playing.  Morgan goes to school, choir and gymnastics while Macie and I shuttle her around.  The cold weather has kept us indoors so we are REALLY ready to get outside.  Hurry up spring!  Here is a sampling of our fun...
This kid is so sweet and happy.  And she is ready to roll over any day now!
Morgan is very much into make-believe and has an incredible imagination.  If we aren't dressing up or playing house with her baby dolls, she is teaching me in school!
Of course a little matching pedicure night!
Mom and Dad spent a night with us on their way home and of course we made a trip to Abner's!
She said she was going to be sweet.  Ha!
This face makes me melt!

Getting a Little Wicked

Last weekend GaGa and Pop came to visit us!  We had a wonderful laid back weekend just getting to play and spend time together.  But the big fun came on Sunday when Sissy and I went to Memphis to see Wicked!  It had been a long time since I had seen it and it was the first time for Sissy.  We both love going to the Orpheum and we had a blast getting a yummy dinner and then going to the play.  It was a great weekend!
