This past weekend was a wonderful celebration of a fantastic woman. My Grandma had her 80th birthday so we celebrated in grand fashion! My Grandma is my inspiration. I often say that I want to be as cool as Grandma when I am her age. And this is no joke. Not only is she the most loving and compassionate woman I know, but she is so much fun! After moving to a town where she knew not one soul just a few years ago, she had over 30 people at her birthday party this weekend! This is just a testament to how loved she truly is by all who meet her.
We had so much fun and Morgan thought it was great that her GG had not one but two birthday parties! On Friday (her actual birthday) we had lunch and cupcakes with all our family that came to town. Morgan thought we should play party games so it was a great thing RoRo was prepared! After some Birthday BINGO we played Pin the Tail on the Donkey. What a hoot! I'm not sure who had the most fun... Morgan or Grandma!
Saturday was the big day of fun. Grandma lives in a wonderful neighborhood filled with the most fun people. We had a party with cake, snacks and drinks at the clubhouse where everyone got to visit and celebrate Grandma. After the party our family headed back to Mom and Dad's house for a yummy birthday dinner and s'mores! We finished the rest of the long weekend enjoying our time together since it doesn't happen as often as we wish. It was the perfect weekend full of family, fun and the most wonderful woman I know.

We absolutely could not have made it through the weekend without Erin! She played with both my girls all weekend long. From the moment she walked in the door Morgan never left her side!
Happy Birthday GG!
