Birthday Weekend

This past weekend was wonderful and awful all at the same time. First, it was Carrie's and Dad's birthdays! Mom and Dad came down so we could all celebrate together. They stayed in Tupelo with us, but on Saturday we headed to Starkville for Carrie's birthday. We got to hang out and had dinner with Carrie and a bunch of her friends. We had so much fun! Morgan partied her little heart out and was passed around all night. She loved it!
Sunday was Dad's birthday and quite a different story for me. I woke up that morning with a stomach bug. What a miserable day! The worst part was not getting to celebrate Dad's birthday and spend time with my family while they were here! I felt so rotten! Here are some pictures from the weekend before I took a turn for the worse.

First Time Food

Morgan tried food for the first time tonight. First up, carrots! And boy did they get everywhere! But she loved them and is ready for more tomorrow!

Super Bulldog Weekend

This weekend we went to Starkville to enjoy the beautiful weather and our beautiful bulldogs! We had such a day. Morgan had her first taste of State football and loved it all. We got to hang out with Aunt Carrie, Mitch, Kristin, Garett and Michelle. What fun!

Morgan's Baptism

We could not have asked for a more perfect day! Morgan was baptized last weekend at First United Methodist Church in Tupelo. The service was beautiful and we were so proud. Morgan was surrounded by love as well. After church, we all had lunch and celebrated together. What a glorious day!!

Happy Easter!

Easter was wonderful! This time of year is always one of my favorites. The weather is getting warmer, the days longer, and the story of the Resurrection is so wonderfully hopeful for me. We have really been studying the Word in our bible study and I've been so enjoying it.
We had a great day as a family. Jeff's mom came and spent the weekend with us. My mom made Morgan the most beautiful Easter dress! It was just perfect! After church and lunch, we came home and spent a beautiful day mostly outside. Now, we were forced outside for much of the evening because we had no power, but at least it was a pretty day! We spent the evening in the street with our neighbors and the kids. Thankfully the power came back on before Morgan's bath. Bath by candelight would have been interesting!
