Worley's and Homecoming

Last weekend Belinda and Emma Kate came to Tupelo! We had a jam-packed weekend of fun! They arrived on Thursday to spend the long weekend with us. We celebrated Morgan's birthday with them and they got Morgan her very first baby doll. You see, Emma Kate has Baby Kara and she goes everywhere with her! So Emma wanted Morgan to have a baby too! Morgan loves this doll. She kisses and hugs her all the time! Her eyes open and close and Morgan loves it. And of course, what birthday celebration wouldn't be complete without a candle and a "Happy Birthday" song?

On Friday we did some shopping and then Saturday it was off to Starkville! How 'bout them Bulldogs? It wasn't pretty, but as my father says. "A W is a W!" And we will take it and go bowling! We tailgated all day and had a blast! As always, we loved our time with our favorite girls. We are counting the days til we see them again!

And a sweet cradle! And yes, Belinda had our furniture
guys in Dexter paint the cradle the same as
Morgan's nursery furniture. How sweet is that?

Murray State Homecoming

This past weekend I finally got to introduce Jeff to one of my most favorite days of the year- Murray State Homecoming. I haven't been home that weekend for so long- either State was playing or I was working- and the stars finally aligned for us to go. And what a weekend it was! Friday night we went to the Miranda Lambert concert and watched a great show.

Saturday morning Mom put together her famous Homecoming Brunch! First we go watch the parade down Main Street. Yes, Murray LOVES a good parade and uses any excuse to throw some candy around! Then we walk back to the house and stuff our faces. We usually have a house full for brunch, and then off to tent city and the football game. It was a warm weekend, but we pulled out a Racer win!

So my dad is now a cowboy! These agriculture guys
he's been hanging around are finally rubbing off. I think
he looks cute! Emma said, "Well heehaw, Paul!"

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

This past weekend Jeff and I had the pleasure of being a part of Paige and Freddie's wedding. Jeff and Freddie have been friends for years- fraternity brothers, roommates- and I have loved Fred since I met him. He is wonderful and we are so happy to welcome Paige into our family! She has made him so happy and for that we are truly thankful!

So off to the coast we went! This being my first time to visit the Mississippi coast, I knew I was in for a good time with some good tour guides! Morgan spent the weekend in Jackson with Grandma and Grandpa and had a ball. I don't know who had more fun- her or them! Thanks so much Sam and Sissy for giving Jeff and I a true adult weekend.

Friday night we had a wonderful rehearsal dinner and then off to the casino to celebrate! Saturday the wedding was perfect. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Pass Christian with a super fun reception. The entire weekend was so much fun! Thank you Freddie and Paige for a wonderful time!
