Merry Christmas Baby

Christmas Fun

This year has been such a fun holiday time!  Morgan has been all about celebrating and Macie has just made everything more complete.  Between parties, decorations and sweet time with friends we have had a blast!  Here is a good look at the fun we have had...

One night Morgan wanted to make a pallet by the fire for her and Macie to read some books...
 ...It was too cute!

One day it got quiet in the living room and this dressed up kiddo is what I found!
The four of us took a quick shopping trip to Memphis one day.  Silly girl wanted to pose with the reindeer!
Macie didn't get the memo that this was a silly face picture

Happy Birthday Jesus!

On Morgan's last day of school Angelia and I threw her class a "Happy Birthday Jesus" party!  It was so sweet and the kids had big fun.  We came in while they were outside on the playground and got the room ready.  When they came in they loved the balloons and were excited to see pizza on their table!  After lunch, Angelia pulled out a birthday cake for Jesus.  It was precious and the kids all gathered around, sang "Happy Birthday" and blew out the candles!  Then they chowed down on cake!  We read them some stories and did a cute craft with their hand print to send home.  It turned out so well and it was great fun to be in the classroom with the kiddos!

Fun Times this Weekend

What a wonderful weekend!  While the Clydesdales have been in town they were staying at our Agri-Center so we decided to stop by and see them.  They are so beautiful and Morgan loved them!  I bet Macie would have too if she were awake...haha!  As we were watching them eating in their stalls, they brought Dixon out to visit.  We got to get up close and touch him and it was amazing.
 Posing with Mick
 Just chillin
 Look how big!
 We loved Dixon

That night Sam and Sissy came to town to visit for the weekend!  GaGa stayed home with Macie so Pop could come with us to the State basketball game.  And how nice of those Bulldogs to play their game in Tupelo!
Look what we found at the basketball game!
Our Dawgs as the home team in Tupelo

Jeff and I even got a date night!  On Saturday we met Michelle and Garett for dinner.  Four hours later we left Anthony's.  I think we had fun!!

Field Trip Fun at the Mall

Last week Morgan's sweet Preschool class went on a field trip to the mall.  Macie and I joined in the fun too!  Her class has been studying the five senses so they got to experience those while they were there: sight: see Santa Clause, sound: the song on the carousel, taste: lunch at Chick-Fil-A, and at Bath & Body Works touch: the lotions and smell: the candles.  It was kinda organized chaos but we had a great time.  It is always fun to watch Morgan and all her friends play together!
Oh the classic class picture - not one kid is looking at the camera!

Christmas Parade

This year's Christmas parade was something extra special.  First, it was a night.  And second, we had a visit from the Budweiser Clydesdale horses!  They were beautiful and it was cool to watch them come down the streets of Tupelo.  It was very very cold that night so Jeff stayed home with Macie while Morgan and I bundled up to join the fun.  A typical small town parade, we watched all kinds of groups and bands.  But the floats were all lit up and were really cool.  We had a great time and even made it to the end to see Santa!
Ready for the parade to start
 Here come the Clydesdales!
Sweet girl enjoyed it all

A Golden Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we are thankful to spend our first as a family of four!  Even though Macie slept through the meal, I'm sure she loved it!  We were thankful that Sam, Sissy and Carrie celebrated one of my favorite days with us.  We started the day with the parade and Morgan actually sat and watched some of it this year.  She danced with me and the Rockettes, sang the Christmas songs and waved at Santa when he came.  But my favorite part was our conversation:

Morgan: "Mommy, what are we watching?"
Me: "It's the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade Morgan.  We watch it every year!"
Morgan: *long pause* "Why does Macie have a parade?"
You know what?  When we named Macie I never thought of that!  Clever girl.

Our meal was wonderful and I was REALLY thankful that Bobby fried our turkey for us...so yummy!  But I'm not going to lie, my favorite part of this year's Thanksgiving was watching our Dawgs bringing the Egg Bowl trophy back home to Starkville!  I am very thankful that Sam and Sissy pulled some Pop and GaGa time so Jeff and I could have a date night at the football game.  Boy was I glad I braved the cold to watch the win!  We couldn't ask for a better day!
 Happy Thanksgiving!

Wednesday Funday!

This week while we were waiting for everyone to get to town for Thanksgiving, the girls and I got a little stir crazy.  So we decided to get out and have some fun!  Morgan go to choose...so we decided to start our day at Shipley's.  Next up was HealthWorks! (my child loves my job) where Morgan was pumped to sing karaoke ("Party in the USA" over and over and over).  When Aunt Carrie made it to town we met her for lunch and rounded out our day with some shopping.  Fun times were had by all!
Doughnut holes for breakfast?  Yes please!
