This year we all packed up and got ourselves to the beach the week before the 4th. Although we started and ended our trip not feeling well (more on that later), we still had a great time. It is always great to get away all together and we are thankful to have a wonderful place to go! Our week was filled with time on the beach, golf (for the boys), time around town, good food and lots of laughter. Just what a vacation should be!
Morgan started the trip not feeling well. But she wouldn't tell us because she still wanted to go to the beach! Poor kid ran a high temp for a few days but she powered through.
Our first day was filled with rest for Morgan and time on the porch for Macie and Packe

This picture perfectly shows our beach experience this summer: Morgan digging in the sand and Macie in a chair with a towel under her feet! As much as Morgan loves the sand, Macie hates it. This is an issue that needs to be worked on!

Morgan loves going to the library with RoRo. They picked out a stack of books and read this one over and over!
One day we decided to spend the evening on the beach instead of the day. It was perfect! We brought dinner to the sand and got to enjoy a quieter beach without the hot hot sun!

On Saturday we got back in the car to drive to Canton for the annual Kraft Family Reunion! Since the 4th of July was on a Saturday we spent the holiday with Sissy and her family. We love getting to see these sweet family members each year! Morgan was really excited to play with Ellie again this year. It was really special to watch these girls enjoying playing with each other so much!

Poor Macie finally caught Morgan's virus complete with high fever. She passed out in the hotel and was miserable for the next few days.
Rain and a sick little sister meant watching the fireworks from the car. We still had fun!
