Today Morgan and I went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. We were doing some shopping the other day and she got really excited to see him so we went back to have our picture taken with the bunny. She was so excited in the car talking about seeing him, but when we got there she wasn't so sure. She made me sit down with her for the longest time while she talked to him. She finally let me get up and get a picture! But it was too funny. She sat at the other end of the bench and slowly warmed up to him. But still wouldn't sit in his lap! She's a mess! But she loved it and blew him a kiss as we left!

NOLA!
Back at the beginning of the basketball season, when our hopes were high for our very talented Bulldog team, Jeff and I made a reservation at Hotel Paczak during the SEC tournament. We thought it would be a great weekend staying with Holly and Brad and cheering on our Dawgs. We did have a great time with Holly and Brad, but there would be no cheering for the Dawgs as they decided to lose on Thursday and we didn't get to town until Friday. Oh well. We had fun anyway!
After dropping Morgan off in Jackson, we got to town in time for dinner. One thing about your friends living in a town like New Orleans, they know the best local spots! Saturday Jeff and I had met up with Stephanie and Collin for lunch and to watch some of the UK game. That afternoon Stephanie and I got to do some shopping on Magazine Street! Why is it that it is more fun to buy for Morgan than me? She got some cute summer things! Later that night Anna joined us for dinner! After a walk down Bourbon Street we called it a night. We had beignets Sunday morning and then headed home. It was a great weekend of food, fun and friends- even without the Bulldogs! Thanks Sam and Sissy for keeping Morgan so we could have a big kid weekend!

Racers Racers Yee Haw!
This past weekend Jeff and I met Mom, Dad, Carrie and Bobby in Nashville for the OVC tournament. We watched the Racers win the OVC and clinch a spot in the big dance! We had so much fun! Jeff and I joined them on Saturday for the championship game. After the win, we headed to a bar downtown to watch the Dawgs beat Arkansas. What a great few hours of basketball for us! That night we ate a wonderful dinner at Maggiano's. It's an Italian restaurant that serves the meal family style. It was yummy and fun! We are thankful that Sissy came and kept Morgan for the night. I know Morgan enjoyed her GaGa time too! Now we get to see where the Racers play next!
