A Fabulous Fourth

We have started a nice tradition of spending the week of the Fourth at the beach with my family.  Now that Mom and Dad are settled into the new house (it looks wonderful thanks to Robin and Mom's hard work), I see us doing this often.  Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time!

We got a few days on the beach before the clouds rolled in, the boys played some golf and we ate very well during our trip!  While we were there, we had some extra visitors to Mom and Dad's house.  The O'Nan's, Carrie and Lauren all spent some time with us at the beach.  We also got to spend a day with John and Susan at their rental house!

For the Fourth we went to Grandma's house for a neighborhood cookout and (sorta) watched the fireworks from the beach.  It was a great and relaxing trip!!
 Morgan's first golf lesson
Spending the day with the Williams
 Right before she wiped out!
Susan got to teach Morgan how to play tennis
 There it goes!
 Morgan telling her Daddy something
Oh how she loves the beach
We also celebrated Bobby's early birthday one night
Of course Morgan had to help blow out the candles
After dinner one night Grandma had an American history quiz and brought prizes for the winners!  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
Carrie and Lauren drowned their losing ways in the bourbon slushies
 Waiting for fireworks with Daddy

I think she was getting patriotic as the Statue of Liberty
