We are mobile!
BIG NEWS in Morgan's world! She is now crawling!! It finally happened this weekend in Murray! She has been so close for so long and she finally made her move on Sunday morning. And what did she crawl to? The remote for the TV of course! And Whitney threw in her phone to sweeten the deal and she was off! My little electronics baby! My sweet girl is getting too big!
Murray Wedding Weekend
Last weekend Morgan, Carrie and I went to Murray for Chelsea and Chase's wedding. What a wonderful weekend! Mom, Grandma and I threw the bridesmaid's luncheon at the house on Friday and so much fun with the girls! Saturday brought on a beautiful wedding. Chelsea could not have been a more beautiful bride. Carrie and Chelsea have been friends and teammates since they were kids, and I think of Chelsea (and Kayln) as my little sister too. I was very proud of these girls- Carrie and Kayln didn't cause a scene laughing during the ceremony! We also got to spend some quality time in Murray which was much needed by me. I don't know, there is something about going home that is just so peaceful. We had a great time! We even got to visit with Sarah because she was in Murray staying with Grandma and Mom too!

Trouble
Chelsea asked Dad to introduce the wedding party at the reception. This was great. You see, these girls played sports from the time they could hold a ball until they graduated high school. Basketball and softball were the games of choice for them. And my Dad always announced the games (because you can't really keep him away from a microphone). So they put on the gameday music and Dad introduced the "starting lineup" for the day. It was perfect!
Pool Time with Charles
Carrie and her friend Charles came to visit Tupelo one weekend. Even though Charles says that one day he might want 0-2 kids, he sure has fun with my girl! Carrie and I worked all day Saturday, but Sunday we relaxed by the pool. We had an adventure and so much fun!

More Beach
This year I finally got smart. We take family pictures on the beach every year. And every year it takes FOREVER! And for the whole group pic you have to find some poor soul to take the picture. So this year we got a professional! He was so great! He met us at our beach and took a million pictures for us and then just mailed me the disc for us to do as we please. We got tons of pictures and it was so easy! I highly recommend this process to everyone! Here are a few of the great shots he got.

Beach!
Ok, so this might go down as the longest post ever for pictures! I'm sorry! I couldn't narrow them down any further. So, we took Morgan to the beach for the first time last week. Yes, a whole week at the beach. Life truly doesn't get any better! Since all in my family are such beach bums, Morgan has no choice but to love it. And she really did! At first the pool wasn't her favorite, be she quickly warmed up to it. Morgan mostly slept under the tent when we were on the beach, but did not like the waves in the ocean. Give her time, she'll learn to love them like we do! We rented a house with my Mom, Dad, Sister and Grandmother. Jeff's mom even got to join us for a few days! What fun we had!

And then the oil came... I can't complain too much. The oil made its arrival on Saturday so we only lost one day on the sand (we just went to the pool). The whole thing just makes me sad. The beach is my safe haven. Something about the sand in my toes, the sounds of the waves and the smell of the salt just makes me happy. Now, something is messing it up. The oil kinda came up in globs no bigger than my fist. But they were everywhere on the wet sand. And you could see smaller oil globs in the water too. And you could smell the oil days before it got there. Just sad. And it doesn't seem to be getting better anytime soon.
